The U.S. EPA, USDA and U.S. Food and Drug Administration on May 8 released a plan developed by the agencies to update, streamline and clarify their regulations and oversight mechanisms for products of biotechnology.
New Mexico will be the fourth state in the U.S. to pass a clean fuel standard.
Carbon Capture Magazine has announced the dates for the third annual National Carbon Capture Conference & Expo. The event will be held November 19-20, 2024, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. The National Hydrogen Conference & Expo has been added to the conference as a co-located event. A call for abstracts is now open for both events through July 21st.
The Washington Department of Ecology on Dec. 18 published a notice announcing plans to update the state’s CFS regulations to align with legislation signed into law last year that aims to promote the production and use of SAF.
Reps. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, and Angie Craig, D-Minn., on Nov. 29 introduced the Flex Fuel Fairness Act of 2023, which aims to level the playing field for vehicles that run on low-carbon liquid fuels, such as ethanol.
