Renova Energy plc announced in July it had secured an option to purchase an 80-acre plot of land—where it plans to build a 40 MMgy to 60 MMgy ethanol plant—adjacent to its ethanol facility in Torrington, Wyo. Although it will be built near Wyoming Ethanol, the new plant will run a separate process. Katzen International will conduct the feasibility study. Renova has also proposed a 20 MMgy plant in Heyburn, Idaho. A company representative was not available to give a development timeline.
