American Ethanol supports troops at Dover International Speedway

By American Ethanol | May 29, 2014

American Ethanol will host members of the Armed Forces from Dover Air Force Base participating in the NASCAR Troops to the Track Presented by Bank of America during the Fed Ex 400 at Dover International Speedway. Though American Ethanol is a year-long supporter of the Armed Forces Foundation and our service members, the proximity of Memorial Day to the race date presents an opportunity to publicly express our support for the tremendous men and women who serve our nation.

Dover AFB is the home of the Mortuary Affairs division of the Armed Forces, the division responsible for the care and final rights of fallen service members who were killed while serving our nation. The men and women of Dover AFB provide the proper care and final military rights of their fellow warriors who have fallen in battle, and ensure that the families of those killed receive every asset needed to ensure a proper military burial. This role places a tremendous emotional burden on these patriots, and American Ethanol intends to show gratitude for their job well done.

Growth Energy, a partner in the American Ethanol coalition, is an annual supporter of the Armed Forces Foundation. Through the Fueling Our Forces program, Growth Energy raises more than $100,000 annually for the organization and programs that go to support this generation of warriors.
