Fluid Quip Process Technologies adds Neal Jakel

Fluid Quip Process Technologies is pleased to announce that Neal Jakel has joined the company to lead its strategy and technology growth efforts. In this role, Jakel will oversee the company’s current growth plans with the primary focus on bringing a broad array of technologies and solutions to the biorefinery and renewable chemical industries.

The renewable fuels industry continues to grow current margins while capitalizing on new value added revenue streams through FQPT’s technologies, from optimization in front end grind technology to enhanced protein and fiber streams.  “FQPT has the breadth of knowledge and depth of operations experience to help make a difference in existing and new facilities with our current and newly developed pipeline technologies. We are excited to bring these solutions to make the industry even more successful,”Jakel said.

“Neal’s cross knowledge of corn wet milling and biofuels processes will allow us to further advance our technologies so that we can offer additional services to our current and future client base,” said John Kwik, president of FQPT.   “We are very excited about the further services and skillsets that FQPT can bring to this sector with someone like Neal on board,” Kwik added.

Jakel, former general manager of the recently sold Illinois River Energy brings a wealth of knowledge within the broad biofuels and ag processing industries. Jakel has more than 20 years of extensive technical and operations expertise as well as executive level experience that he brings to the highly skilled FQPT team. Jakel holds an MBA and BS in Chemical Engineering.
