Financing Holding up Sask. Ethanol Plant

Construction of the long-awaited ethanol plant at Belle Plaine, Sask., Canada -which was supposed to begin this spring - could still get underway this fall, a spokesmen for Crown Investments Corp. (CIC) and Broe Companies of Denver, the proponents of the $60-million project, told The Leader-Post (Regina) in a July 11 article. However, the ownership structure and the financing of the plant could be far different than what was announced last fall, with CIC taking on more equity, the newspaper reported.
