Two Plants Slated for Tulare County, Calif.

Pacific Ethanol Inc., is looking for financing to build two ethanol plants in Tulare County, Calif., the Tulare Advance-Register reported on July 23.

One plant is projected for Visalia, near highways 99 and 198, while the other would be in Madera. The Madera plant, a $50 million project, could be producing ethanol by 2004.

Currently, California has only two facilities.
