CropEnergies has successful first quarter in 2018.

Global bioethanol producer CropEnergies has increased its production by 38 percent in the first quarter of 2017, based on sales of bioethanol, food and animal feed products, as well as the reopening of a plant in Wilton, United Kingdom.

The company produced 280,000 cubic meters (74 million gallons) of bioethanol in the first three months of the financial year, it reports.

CropEnergies expects a rise in revenue in 2017 to 900 million euros ($921.4 million) from 850 million euros ($32.2 million) in 2016.
