Arizona Clean Fuels, which is planning a 150,000 barrel-per-day crude oil refinery in Yuma County, Ariz., announced it has partnered with WesPac Pipelines to finance, construct and operate a crude oil supply pipeline for the facility. In 2006, Arizona Clean Fuels plans to obtain its final permits, finalize its second round of financing and complete its detailed engineering design on the refinery, according to spokesman Ian Calkins. The group hopes to begin construction of the refinery and crude oil pipeline in early 2007.
