By | April 01, 2006
Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP (KMP) is expanding its Las Vegas ethanol storage capacity as part of $670 million in capital expansion projects slated for 2006. KMP's current ethanol capacity at its Las Vegas terminal is approximately 44,000 barrels, according to company spokeswoman Lorena Guilanshah. The nearly $10 million investment at the Las Vegas terminal will boost refined product delivery volumes to address projected capacity constraints. KMP's pipelines transport more than 2 million barrels per day of gasoline and other petroleum products.
