RAE signs Austin AECOM, Delta-T

Renewable Agricultural Energy (RAE) Inc. announced it has signed a letter of intent with Austin AECOM to build three ethanol plants using Delta-T Corp. technology. RAE intends to have three 108 MMgy facilities operating by early 2009.

Neal Jakel, RAE's director of capital engineering, will manage the project. Austin AECOM will handle full engineering and construction management. Delta-T will provide the technology package for each of the three plants.

Permitting is underway at RAE's first site in Gothenberg, Neb. Site evaluations are underway to finalize the other two locations. RAE intends to start construction at all three sites in 2007.

RAE also named Eric Lee as director of plant operations and process engineering. He brings 15 years experience in the foods, chemical and renewable fuels industries to the company.
