Three ethanol plants receive air permits

The Texas Commission on Environmen-tal Quality recently granted an air permit to Panda Ethanol Inc. for its proposed 115 MMgy ethanol plant in Muleshoe, Texas. Likewise, the Ohio EPA issued its final air permit to The Andersons Inc. for a proposed 127 MMgy dry-grind ethanol facility in Crestline, Ohio. Similarly, the Pennsylvania Department of Environ-mental Protection approved an air quality plan submitted by Northeast Ethanol and Renewable Resources Ltd. for a proposed 60 MMgy ethanol plant in Mayfield, Pa.
