Report confirms U.S. position as world's top ethanol producer

An independent research firm has released an analysis of world biofuels production in 2010 which shows a 20 percent increase in U.S. production and a 300 percent increase in U.S. ethanol exports.

Data shows dip in ethanol production in relation to summer heat

Ethanol production is on the rebound following a bout of reduced output during the extreme heat of July and early August. Between May 27 and June 3, U.S. ethanol producers pumped out 915,000 barrels of ethanol per day, according to EIA statistics.
