Now hiring: Front Range Energy looks for employees

By | March 01, 2006
Front Range Energy, a 40 MMgy ethanol plant under construction in Windsor, Colo., is anticipating an April start-up, and it needs a staff of employees to get things going. Plant Owner Dan Sanders told EPM the company will likely look out-of-state for a plant manager and production supervisor to obtain the most experienced people. However, other management positions, operations and other job duties will most likely be handled by northern Colorado applicants who Front Range Energy is willing to train. A total of 35 people, averaging about $37,000 in annual pay, will be needed to run the plant. Maintenance positions pay $18 to $20 per hour, while production jobs pay $13 to $15 per hour.
