By | March 01, 2006
The Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and Iowa State University have developed a Web site dedicated to the genetics and genomics of corn. The Maize Genetics and Genomics Database, also know as the MaizeGDB, offers information on the traits, genetic sequences and other related features of corn, including those aspects having to do with breeding and crop improvement. It also provides contact information for more than 2,400 cooperative researchers, along with Web-based tools for ordering items such as corn stocks and cloned sequences. The MaizeGDB Web site can be accessed at www.maizegdb.org
