The National Corn Growers Association has launched a new web-based resource,

“For years, NCGA has been at the forefront of promoting ethanol as an important choice for today’s drivers, who are demanding fuels that are not only cleaner-burning, but powerful and made right here in the United States,” said Chad Willis, a Minnesota corn farmer who serves as chairman of NCGA’s ethanol committee. “ provides the key information to people who want to know the simple truth about a very complex subject so they can continue the conversation about how farmers are not only helping feed the world, but fuel it, too.”

The home page of EthanolFacts offers links to short articles on hot topics in ethanol circles: flex-fuel vehicles, food and fuel, jobs and the economy, lower toxic emission, energy security and E15: tested and safe. The individual pages offer links to more resources, such as USDA’s Economic Research Service paper on food costs. The E15 page includes links to more resources offered by the Renewable Fuels Association, Growth Energy, the American Coalition for Ethanol as well as the U.S. EPA and USDA.  The website also offers links to the primary ethanol organizations plus the FFV Awareness Campaign, Clean Fuels Development Coalition and Fuels America.

The EthanolFacts website was designed for simplicity and clarity on a number of platforms, the NCGA explained in announcing the new resource, “especially mobile platforms such as tablets and smartphones.”  A printed pocket guide is also available.
