Midwest companies form Argus Biofuels

January 24, 2007

In November, former executives from Biorefining Inc. released plans to build three 30 MMgy biodiesel plants in Minnesota and Illinois under a start-up company called Argus Biofuels LLC. Kadrmas Lee & Jackson Solutions Company has been identified as the builder for the announced facilities, the first of which is expected to be operational in 2008. Biorefining Inc., a biotechnologies and intellectual properties company that developed fractionation technology it calls the Biomilling Process, is part equity owner in Argus Biofuels.
Shortly after the company was formed, Geoff Kullberg was named Argus Biofuels director of site logistics for the three projects. Kullberg previously worked for Biorefining Inc. and has been involved in the projects since before Argus Biofuels was formed.
