Position Overview The process engineer position will be responsible for providing engineering services on processes and systems to ensure economical, reliable, safe, and efficient systems operation. The position will also manage capital projects to optimize capital investments at our facility. Other responsibilities include evaluating production for areas of opportunity, evaluating and implementing new or emerging technologies relating to ethanol and co-product production, investigating and evaluating equipment failures, and developing project work scopes, plans, budgets, and specifications for proper design, construction, and operation of new and existing plant equipment. Work schedule will primarily be normal daytime business hours, Monday through Friday with additional hours required as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Valid driver’s license Ability to work as needed which includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays Must live within a one (1) hour drive time of the plant location Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in project management which includes setting budgets, deadlines and monitoring progress. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (strong skills with report writing tools is required). Experience with AutoCad or other drawing editing software packages Experience with lean manufacturing principles Previous experience maintaining confidential and trade secret information Able to review and interpret drawings and manuals
