Heron Lake BioEnergy, LLC (“HLBE”) is a Minnesota limited liability company currently producing fuel-grade ethanol, distillers’ grains, and crude corn oil near Heron Lake, Minnesota and sells these products, pursuant to marketing agreements, throughout the continental U.S. and on the international market. HLBE’s plant has an approximate annual production capacity of 67.5 million gallons but is currently permitted to produce up to 72 million gallons of undenatured ethanol on a twelve-month rolling sum basis.

Responsible for loading product into trucks and rail cars in a manner that meets all federal, state, and local hazardous material regulations. Products include; Dried Distillers Grains, ethanol, wet cake feed and distillers syrup. They are responsible for using meters or scales as required when loading product and grading of corn to ensure a timely delivery of product. Perform railcar inspections. Move and place railcars. Proactively inspect, grease and check fluid levels on all equipment based on maintenance schedule. Ensure facility cleanliness at all times to include grain receiving area, spills, grain bins, DDG and plant areas and clean up spills as needed. Observe HLBE safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required. Ensure safe work practices are implemented at all times. Report any safety issues or concerns to Lead and/or EH&S Manager. Must have the ability to actively listen to others for understanding of their needs and situations: ability to speak and write English clearly. Must have the ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions. Must be able to produce quality, accurate work within the constraints of a budget. Must be able to utilize work time properly and productively.
