As we continue to grow and diversify, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instrumentation Product Manager to join our team!

As an Instrumentation Product Manager, you'll be an integral part of our team, responsible for supporting the overall growth of the CFR WI Instruments (WI) product line. In this role, the Instrumentation Product Manager will serve as the sales lead for the WI product line with responsibility for driving global sales efforts as well as evaluating opportunities for targeted sales support from Channel Partners. For identified Channel Partners, the Instrumentation Product Manager will be responsible for developing, enabling, and enhancing their performance to ensure the successful sale of WI products. At the same time, the Instrumentation Product Manager will support the WI product line by applying an agile, customer-centric, business-focused mindset to identify and develop WI product line opportunities to their full market potential. The Instrumentation Product Manager will become a WI subject matter expert, including understanding technical and market trends and how they affect the product/service roadmap, competitive analysis, developing go-to-market and sales strategies, performing product demonstrations, gathering voice-of-customer (VOC), and assisting with new product launches. Key Responsibilities:

• Engage at all levels within internal teams, direct customers, and Channel Partners to drive new sales, grow market share, and increase the global WI install base.

• Responsible for WI Channel Network relationships, sales targets, and performance.

• Develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics for WI products through the entire sales funnel process.

• Drive product launches with engagement with cross-functional teams.

• Leverage networks to drive WI sales and identify opportunities with corresponding partners in CFR and Channels to cross-sell WI or provide comprehensive solutions with WI.

• Penetrate WI competitive accounts and communicate market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues, and requirements.

• Develop annual WI business plans defining performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones, including detail on volume, mix, market trends, sales/marketing plans, and training initiatives.

• Actively manage WI Channel Partner performance through weekly communication (calls, emails, training) including reviews of pipeline opportunities, deal progression, promotional activities, training initiatives, and win/loss rationale.

• Develop the go-to-market approach with support from commercial teams.

• Educate unmet needs and WI value propositions through analysis from market research, customer engagement, and visits by working with Commercial and Technical teams.

• Understand technical benefits of product offerings and maintain a thorough market understanding, including industry trends, industry business and operations processes, competitive analysis, and business direction to develop customer use cases.

• Identify, coordinate, and perform sales opportunity based activities including technical presentations, customer references, site visits, product demonstrations, and product implementation process support.

• In conjunction with the Commercial and Technical teams, support the product development process to ensure the product fulfills the market needs and achieves the product goals.

• Partner with marketing to support the development of marketing communications materials for all sales channels and customers, related to product value proposition messaging, new product/service launches, channel promotions, and product news.

• Promote the WI product lines by selecting and participating in trade associations, industry conferences, and trade shows.

• Actively provide input to support WI strategic, budgeting, and monthly planning processes.

Job Requirements


What We're Looking For:

• Education: BS/BA in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Business Management, or related field required.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years technical sales, market development, product development, or sales with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results. B2B experience in energy sector such as ethanol, petrochemicals and/or petroleum lab space is required. Prior experience in launching/selling/marketing a new product in existing/new market is highly desired. Proven ability to work with cross-functional global teams, including experience with Channels or a Channel Partner and demonstrated experience with tradeshows, conferences, and roadshows.

• Intercultural: Experienced with developing the Brazilian market and/or high-level of competency in Spanish is preferred. International and intercultural experience and sensitivity required.

• Software: High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and functional knowledge of other MS Office applications is required. Prior functional Customer Resource Management (CRM) experience desired.

• Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and technical knowledge to succinctly align customer needs with the product value proposition.

• Technical Communication: Demonstrated experience developing and presenting technical information to decision makers, both verbally and written.

• Travel: Ability to travel internationally (~50%).

• Communication: Exhibit strong integrity, humility, and interpersonal skills to build strong, constructive business relationships with key stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; polished presentation skills.

• Customer Support: Excellent in translating VOC (such as customers’ business operational needs) and market trends into quantifiable business opportunities that succinctly align customer needs with the product value proposition. Ability to quickly learn and understand customer business operational needs and align our offerings to meet them.

• Organized: Ability to set priorities and targets, manage multiple assignments, while remaining flexible to changing work priorities. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and personal organization skills. Self-motivated, self-starter with high energy and capable of personal goal setting, time management, and remaining flexible to changing work priorities.
