An international market development organization headquartered in Washington, DC is recruiting a Senior Ethanol Technical Consultant. This consultant-based position is responsible for providing technical expertise, support, and strategic guidance to the organization's global ethanol market development programs, with a focus on expanding ethanol use in emerging and strategic markets. U.S. Grains Council (USGC) is a leading non-profit member association dedicated to expanding exports of U.S. corn, sorghum, barley and related co-products, including ethanol. Enable the Council to advance the adoption of ethanol in targeted international markets by providing technical support, developing and executing strategic initiatives, and engaging with key stakeholders in government, industry, and regulatory bodies. This role involves direct engagement with government agencies, industry partners, and community stakeholders to remove technical barriers, promote ethanol's benefits, and support the Council's ethanol marketing goals. Travel is expected to occur 6-12 times per year, depending on program needs, to accommodate conferences, missions, or in-person consultations. Travel will be covered by the USGC.
