Sen. Pete Ricketts, R-Neb., on Nov. 24 called on the Biden administration to finalize rulemaking that would also E15 to be sold year-round in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
A coalition of biofuel and farm groups on Nov. 27 released a statement expressing disappointment in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Nov. 22 decision remanding to the U.S. EPA six small refinery exemption (SRE) requests.

U.S. fuel ethanol production was down 2 percent the week ending Nov. 17, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Nov. 22. Stocks of fuel ethanol were up 3 percent and exports were down 8 percent.
Wolf Carbon Solutions U.S. on Nov. 20 announced it has voluntary submitted a motion to withdraw its current certificate application with the Illinois Commerce Commission, but plans to update and refile an application with the ICC early next year.
