The <a href="http://www.fuelethanolworkshop.com/">29th annual &nbsp;International Fuel Ethanol Workshop &amp; Expo</a>, the ethanol industry's largest and longest-running conference, will take place June 10-13 in St. Louis. The conference will feature more than 140 speakers and four comprehensive program tracks. "Attendees of the 29th annual FEW will gain extremely important information about the ethanol industry," said Tim Portz, vice president of content and executive editor at BBI International. "We were fortunate to have had a large number of abstracts submitted to help shape this conference&rsquo;s agenda into the most current and relevant FEW we&rsquo;ve ever produced."
One of the most anticipated portions of the conference agenda is the roundtable discussion with executive officers of the Renewable Fuels Association, Growth Energy and the American Coalition for Ethanol. They are scheduled to present vital information and summer policy updates on safeguarding RFS2, correcting misinformation about renewable identification numbers (RINs), building the market for E15 and mid-level blends, and maintaining our national commitment to commercializing advanced and cellulosic ethanol.
Speaking and representing their organizations are Bob Dinneen, president and CEO of the RFA; Tom Buis, CEO of Growth Energy; and Brian Jennings, executive vice president of ACE.&nbsp;
The nearly 2,000 attendees registered for the event include national and international ethanol producers, investors, industry suppliers and policymakers. During the course of the event, they'll discuss issues categorized into four program tracks:
