Growth Energy on March 17 shared recommendations with the USDA on how to improve and implement interim guidelines on climate-smart agriculture (CSA) practices. The agency is currently reviewing its interim rule on CSA crops used as biofuel feedstock.
Ethanol Producer Magazine announced this week the preliminary agenda for the 2025 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo (FEW) taking place June 9-11, 2025 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
The USGC escorted a delegation of more than 20 energy sector stakeholders and government officials to the 30th National Ethanol Conference, held in Nashville, Tennessee. USGC President and CEO Ryan LeGrand spoke about ethanol markets at the event.
Growth Energy commended the U.S. EPA after the agency announced that it would reconsider its Multi-Pollutant Emissions Standards for Model Years 2027 and Later Light-Duty and Medium-Duty Vehicles, otherwise known as the tailpipe emissions rule.
The U.S. EPA on March 12 announced it has kicked off a formal reconsideration of 2009 Endangerment Finding, which forms the legal basis for GHG regulations, and is considering the elimination of the agency’s Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program.
