The USDA on Oct. 3 awarded $104 million in loans and grants to more than 300 clean energy projects under the Rural Energy for America Program. Projects under development at three ethanol plants were among those to receive funding.
Growth Energy is celebrating completion of the fifth and final round of applications for the USDA’s HBIIP by releasing new figures that demonstrate how it has helped retailers install equipment to offer higher biofuel blends like E15 and E85.
The Renewable Fuels Association announced that it has helped fuel retailers and distributors apply for more than $200 million in USDA grant funding under the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program.
Through federal and state funding incentives, higher ethanol blend infrastructure is going in—and ethanol gallons sold are going up.
The USDA’s Commodity Credit Corp. has announced that it does not expect to purchase and sell sugar under the Feedstock Flexibility Program for crop year 2024, which runs from Oct. 1, 2024, through Sept. 30, 2025.
