The U.S. exported 172.27 million gallons of ethanol in April and 894,197 metric tons of distillers grains, according to data released by the USDA on June 4. Exports of both products remained strong, but were down when compared to April 2024.
The California Assembly on June 4 voted 77 to zero in favor of a bill that aims to immediately authorize the use of E15 within California until state agencies completed the required evaluation process for the fuel blend and issue a decision.
With a keynote address by President and CEO Geoff Cooper, the Renewable Fuels Association will have a strong presence onstage and elsewhere during the International Fuel Ethanol Workshop and Expo, taking place June 9–11 in Omaha.
E-methanol supplies ethanol producers with a unique utilization option in place of carbon capture and sequestration.
During its last scheduled meeting during fiscal year 2025, the Iowa Renewable Fuels Infrastructure Program on June 4 awarded more than $1 million in cost-share grants to support the installation of E15 at 91 additional retail fuel sites across Iowa.
