FAPRI report assumes VEETC isn't renewed, ethanol production dips


Assuming the tax credit expires, FAPRI projects ethanol production to go from 13.6 million gallons in 2010-'11 to 12.9 million next year, then back up to 13.5 million gallons the next year and increases slowly to 18.4 million gallons in 2020-'21.

Despite a difficult start, Germany will continue to introduce E10. Government, agriculture, fuel and auto industry representatives met in a fuel summit March 9 and agreed on several measures to educate and inform consumers about the fuel.
