U.S. ethanol exports for January second highest on record


U.S. ethanol exports in January, both denatured and undenatured, non-beverage, reached 57.2 million gallons in January -- the second highest monthly total on record. December exports set the record at 71.9 million gallons.

AE Biofuels announces its wholly-owned advanced ethanol subsidiary, AE Advanced Fuels Keyes Inc., closed on $3.5 million financing with Third Eye Capital Corp.. The funds will be used to restart and operate a 55 MMgy ethanol plant in Keyes, Calif.

Poet celebrates opening of 27th plant in Cloverdale Ind.
