Senate ag committee votes to restore energy funding in Farm Bill The Senate Agriculture Committee marked up the 2012 Farm Bill on April 26 and approved a new version by a vote of 16 to 5 that includes an amendment to restore funding for the Farm Bill energy title programs. READ MORE SHARE
	Appeals court temporarily reinstates California LCFS After having received a respite, fuel distributors, ethanol producers and consumers are back under the thumb of California's controversial LCFS, following a recent appeals court decision to allow CARB to enforce the LCFS while it considers the case. Research finds dairy cow diets could safely include more DGs SDSU research shows distillers grains can comprise up to 20 percent of the diets (on a dry basis) for lactating dairy cows without negatively affecting milk production. Ethanol producers step up to pay for required E15 fuel survey A group of 99 ethanol producers has taken on the task of funding the nationwide fuel survey required by the EPA for E15 implementation.
