Drought expected to ease in most of Western Corn Belt Recent heavy snowfalls were most welcome across the Corn Belt. And, while the eastern Corn Belt states of Ohio, Indiana and southern Illinois are now officially out of the drought, much of the western Corn Belt is still in various levels of drought. Brazil to increase ethanol blend level to 25 percent The government of Brazil has published an official notice to increase the mandatory blend level of anhydrous ethanol from to 25 percent, effective May 1. The current blend level is set at 20 percent. READ MORE SHARE
