USDA increases corn supply by 80 million bushels for new record The USDA surprised the trade in its Sept. 12 World Agriculture Supply and Demand Estimates report by increasing its projections for the current crop year. The average corn yield is forecast at 155.3 bushels per acre, up 0.9 bushels from last month. READ MORE SHARE
LandViewer pegs 2013 corn crop at 12.69 billion bushels The team with Genscape LandViewer held to its corn forecast of a month ago projecting a 12.69 billion bushel crop with an average yield of 141.8 bushels per acre, a number that is lower than most analysts' predictions. READ MORE SHARE
