US ethanol production sets new record in final week of 2016 The U.S. ethanol industry closed out 2016 with a new production record. Petrobras sells its shares in Guarani to Tereos Petrobras Biocombustível S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of Petrobras, has announced an agreement to sell its shares in Guarani S.A., a Brazil-based sugar and ethanol producer, to Tereos Participations SAS for $202 million. READ MORE SHARE
USDA: No actions expected under Feedstock Flexibility Program On Dec. 28, the USDA Commodity Credit Corp. announced it does not expect to purchase and sell sugar under the Feedstock Flexibility Program during fiscal year 2017.
