Senate bill introduced to give E15 year-round market presence The bipartisan Senate bill would extend the Reid vapor pressure waiver to ethanol blends above 10 percent, allowing retailers to sell E15 all year. ICM to build showcase biorefinery next to its Kansas headquarters The 70 MMgy plant will cost about $175 million to build. 	Pacific Ethanol reports improved profitability in 2016 The company grew net sales by 17 percent and improved gross profit by $17.2 million compared to the fourth quarter of 2015. Ethanol brings $2 billion per year to Minnesota's economy According to a new study, the state’s ethanol industry used 410 million bushels of corn, about one-fourth of the Minnesota crop, to produce 1.18 billion gallons of ethanol, 3.5 million tons of DDGS and 244 million pounds of corn oil in 2016.
