EPA finalizes E15 rule, steps back approach to RIN market reform The EPA released its final E15/RIN market reform rule May 31. The rule extends the RVP waiver to E15. Attis acquires New York ethanol plant from Sunoco Attis Industries Inc. has completed the acquisition of a 100 MMgy corn ethanol plant and grain malting operation in Fulton, New York, from Sunoco LP. Attis plans to develop the site into a state-of-the-art green tech campus. READ MORE SHARE

Casey’s General Stores accelerates E15 store openings Growth Energy and Casey’s General Stores have announced that Casey’s will expand its E15 offering to more than 60 new sites this summer. USGC: Ethanol represents fasting growing US agricultural export A recent analysis by the U.S. Grains Council shows non-beverage ethanol has been the fastest growing U.S. agricultural export over the past decade by a significant margin, growing 13 percent year-over-year over the past 10 years. Nebraska passes renewable fuels infrastructure bill Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts recently signed a bill creating a renewable infrastructure grant program. UNICA: Ethanol sales stay strong in early May UNICA, the Brazilian sugarcane industry association, has announced sugarcane processing and ethanol production were both down during the first half of May. Sales of ethanol, however, remained strong. READ MORE SHARE
EPA approves efficient producer pathway for Iowa ethanol plant The U.S. EPA recently approved an efficient producer pathway for The Andersons Denison Ethanol LLC, allowing the facility to generate RINs for non-grandfathered volumes of ethanol.
