	IRENA: Bioenergy employed 3.18 million people globally in 2018 IRENA recently released the sixth edition of it Renewable Energy and Jobs report, announcing the renewable energy sector employed at least 11 million people last year, directly and indirectly. EIA lowers ethanol production forecast for 2019 The U.S. Energy Information Administration has slightly lowered its forecast for 2019 ethanol production but is maintaining its outlook for 2020 production, according to the July edition of the EIA’s Short-Term Energy Outlook. READ MORE SHARE
USDA: July WASDE maintains forecast for corn use in ethanol The USDA has maintained its forecast that 5.5 billion bushels of corn will go to ethanol production during the 2019-’20 crop year in its latest World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report, released July 11. READ MORE SHARE
