UNICA: Ethanol production up in second half of September UNICA, the Brazilian sugarcane industry association, has announced ethanol production was up significantly during the second half of September. Air Liquide, ArcelorMittal partner in pilot project Air Liquide is partnering with ArcelorMittal in the first industrial-scale demonstration plant to capture carbon gas from the steelmaking process and recycle it into chemicals, specifically advanced bioethanol. READ MORE SHARE
Suncor Energy increases investment in Enerkem Enerkem Inc. announced Oct. 15 the closing of a $50 million equity investment from Suncor. Suncor first participated in the ownership of Enerkem in April 2016 as part of a $76.3 million equity financing alongside Enerkem’s existing shareholders. READ MORE SHARE
