Welch, Udall introduce bills to gut the RFS, walk back E15 Legislation introduced on Nov. 14 aims to alter the RFS by phasing out the participation of corn ethanol in the program, capping ethanol content in gasoline, and altering mandates and eligible feedstocks for cellulosic and advanced biofuel. EIA maintains 2019, 2020 ethanol production forecasts The U.S. EIA has maintained its 2019 and 2020 ethanol production forecasts its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, published Nov. 13.
