New York approves E15 sales


The New York Department of Agriculture and Markets published a notice of adoption in the New York State Register on Nov. 20 allowing the sales of E15 within the state. The move opens the fourth-largest fuel market in the U.S. to sales of E15.

Poet-DSM halts Project Liberty production over RFS mismanagement


Poet-DSM Advanced Biofuels LLC, a joint venture of Royal DSM and Poet LLC, announced Nov. 19 it will pause production of cellulosic ethanol at Project Liberty and shift to R&D focused on improving operational efficiency.

5 SRE applications filed for 2019, 2 declared ineligible for 2018


The U.S. EPA posted updated SRE data to its website on Nov. 21 showing that five new SRE applications have been filed for compliance year 2019 and two SRE petitions previously filed for compliance year 2018 have been declared ineligible.

Governors urge Trump to remove gasoline’s deadly aromatics
