Red River Biorefinery, a 16.5 MMgy ethanol plant located in Grand Forks, North Dakota, is on track to begin operations in the beginning of 2020. The facility takes in sugar beet tailings and potato processing waste as feedstock.

USDA: US ethanol exports reach 113 million gallons in October


The USDA Foreign Agricultural Service released October export data on Dec. 5, reporting the U.S. exported approximately 112.82 million gallons of ethanol and 759,979 tons of distillers grains during the month.

WASDE maintains corn, ethanol forecasts


The USDA maintained its 2019-’20 for corn use in ethanol in its latest World Agriculture Supply and Demand Estimates Report, released Dec. 10. The forecasts for U.S. corn supply, use and season-average farm price were also unchanged.
