EIA: Ethanol production up 1%, weekly ending stocks fall by 4% U.S. ethanol production was up approximately 1 percent the week ending June 26, while weekly ending stocks of fuel ethanol fell by more than 4 percent, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on July 1. Kim Reynolds on June 30 signed a bill that will extend Iowa’s biofuel tax differentials for six years and announced her intention to use $7 million of Iowa’s federal CARES Act funding to expand the Iowa's biofuel infrastructure program.
