	EPA: 1.62 billion RINs generated in August The U.S. EPA has released updated renewable identification number (RIN) data, reporting that nearly 1.62 billion RIN were generated under the Renewable Fuel Standard in September, down from 1.65 billion generated during the same period of last year. EIA: US biofuel capacity flat in August, feedstock use down Operatable biofuels production capacity in the U.S. remained steady at 20.734 billion gallons per year in August.
