IEA predicts growth in global biofuel supply through 2026 The IEA in March released a report predicting that global biofuels supply will reach 3.3 million barrels per day by 2026, up from 2.6 million barrels per day in 2020. The forecast was included in the IEA's Oil 2021 report. READ MORE SHARE
Survey: Most Iowans view ethanol as a critical to economic growth A broad, bipartisan majority of Iowans support the ethanol industry and believe it is critical to the future of agriculture, the health of the state’s economy, and improving environmental outcomes, according to a new survey. EIA: Ethanol production down 1%, stocks down 4% U.S. fuel ethanol production fell by approximately 1 percent the week ending April 8, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on April 13. Fuel ethanol stocks were down more than 4 percent. READ MORE SHARE
EIA maintains 2022, 2023 ethanol production, blending forecasts The U.S. Energy Information Administration maintained its 2022 and 2023 forecasts for fuel ethanol production in its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, released April 12. USGC programs stabilize DDGS exports in Mexico In 2020, pandemic restrictions prompted the U.S. Grains Council to redesign its promotion approach in Southeast Mexico because its DDGS feeding trials could not take place in person. The USGC utilized WhatsApp and Zoom meetings. READ MORE SHARE
