EPA issues waiver allowing E15 sales to continue this summer The EPA on April 29 issued an emergency fuel waiver allowing E15 to be sold during the summer 2022 driving season. 	EPA delivers final RFS RVO rule to White House OMB The U.S. EPA on April 29 delivered its final rule to set 2021 and 2022 RFS RVOs to the White House Office of Management and Budget. Midwest governors take action on year-round E15 The governors of Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin on April 28 sent a letter to U.S. EPA Administrator Michael Regan seeking a permanent solution to year-round E15 sales. READ MORE SHARE

	Iowa House, Senate pass governor’s biofuels bill The Iowa Senate and Iowa House of Representatives on April 26 each voted to approve legislation introduced by Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds in January that will increase consumer access to higher blends of ethanol and biodiesel. READ MORE SHARE
EIA: Ethanol production up 2%, stocks down 2% U.S. fuel ethanol production was up nearly 2 percent the week ending April 22, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on April 27. Weekly ending stocks of fuel ethanol were down nearly 2 percent. READ MORE SHARE
Valero reports profitable Q1 for ethanol, renewable diesel Valero Energy Corp. released first quarter 2022 financial results on April 26, reporting both its ethanol and renewable diesel segments were profitable during the three-month period. Production of both fuels was up. READ MORE SHARE
Novozymes reports 27% increase in bioenergy sales for Q1 Novozymes released first quarter 2022 financial results on April 27, reporting sales for its bioenergy segment were up 27 percent when compared to the same period of last year. Overall sales for the company were up 10 percent. READ MORE SHARE
ADM reports improved Q1 results for carbohydrate solutions Archer Daniels Midland Co. on April 26 reported that its carbohydrates solutions business segment, which includes both its wet mill and dry mill ethanol plants, delivered improved financial results for the first quarter of 2022.
