Honeywell announces new ethanol-to-jet technology Honeywell on Oct. 10 announced a new, innovative ethanol-to-jet fuel (ETJ) processing technology that allows producers to convert corn-based, cellulosic, or sugar-based ethanol into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). READ MORE SHARE
Carbon America to develop CCS project at Nebraska ethanol plant Carbon America on Oct. 4 announced an agreement with Bridgeport Ethanol LLC to develop a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project at the company’s 53 MMgy ethanol plant in Nebraska. 	Missouri governor signs bill with ethanol, biodiesel tax credits Missouri Gov. Mike Parson on Oct. 5 signed House Bill 3, which creates state retail tax credits to support the sale of ethanol and biodiesel blends. The legislation also creates a tax credit to benefit biodiesel producers. READ MORE SHARE
EPA approves efficient producer pathway for Nebraska plant The U.S. EPA in September approved an efficient producer pathway for Green Plains Inc.’s 116 MMgy ethanol plant located in Central City, Nebraska. The approval allows the facility to generate RINs for non-grandfathered volumes of ethanol. READ MORE SHARE
USDA: US ethanol exports at 77 million gallons in August The U.S. exported 76.99 million gallons of ethanol and 981,020 metric tons of distillers grains in August, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on Oct. 5. Exports of both products were down. READ MORE SHARE
	DOE offers $2.1B to support CO2 transportation infrastructure The U.S. Department of Energy on Oct. 6 began accepting letters of interest from applicants for loans under a new $2.1 billion Carbon Dioxide Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation program. READ MORE SHARE
EIA: Ethanol production up 4%, stocks down 4% U.S. fuel ethanol production increased 4 percent the week ending Sept. 30, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Oct. 5. Ethanol stocks were down more than 4 percent, falling to the lowest level since 2021. READ MORE SHARE
UNICA: Sugarcane processing up in early September UNICA, the Brazilian sugarcane industry association, has announced that sugarcane processing by mills in the country’s south-central region was up during the first half of September. Ethanol production was also up, but ethanol sales were down. READ MORE SHARE

Aemetis Biogas closes $25M financing for digesters, pipeline Aemetis Inc. has closed $25 million of long-term financing with Greater Commercial Lending to build dairy biogas digesters and a biogas pipeline for the Aemetis Biogas Central Dairy Digester Project located in Stanislaus County, California.
