The USDA recently released its Grain Crushings and Co-Products Production report for June, reporting that corn use for fuel ethanol in April was down when compared to the previous month, but up when compared to April of last year.&nbsp;Total corn consumed for alcohol and other uses was 475 million bushels in April, down 6% when compared to the previous month, but up 1% when compared to April 2024. April usage included 91.7% for alcohol and 8.3% for other purposes.&nbsp;Corn consumed for fuel alcohol was at 426 million bushels in April, down 6% when compared to March, but up 1% when compared to April of last year. Corn consumed in April for dry milling fuel production and wet milling fuel production was at 91.5% and 8.5%, respectively.&nbsp;At wet mills, condensed distillers solubles production expanded to 119,539 tons in April, up from 112,630 tons the previous month and 88,403 tons in March 2024. Corn oil production was at 176,821 tons, down from 188,359 tons in March and 178,529 tons in April of last year. Distillers dried grains production fell to 366,031 tons, down from 382,594 tons in March and 376,770 tons in April 2024. Distillers dried grains with solubles production fell to 1.63 million tons, down from 1.81 million tons the previous month and 1.76 million tons in April of the previous year. Distillers wet grains production expanded to 1.26 billion tons, up from 1.23 million tons in March and 1.25 million tons in April 2024. Modified distillers wet grains production was at 546,733 tons, down from 497,503 tons in March, but up from 447,377 tons in April of last year.&nbsp;At wet mills, corn germ meal production was at 56,424 tons in April, down from 57,577 tons in March, but up from 48,562 tons in April of last year. Corn gluten feed production was at 242,134 tons, down from 260,584 tons the previous month, but up from 238,119 tons in April 2024. Corn gluten meal production fell to 105,539 tons, down from 109,931 tons in March and 109,375 tons in April of the previous year. Wet corn gluten feed production was at 198,188 tons, up from 197,117 tons the previous month, but down from 199,182 tons in April 2024.&nbsp;At wet and dry mills, carbon dioxide captured expanded to 242,477 tons in April, up from both 241,425 tons in March and 203,164 tons in April 2024.&nbsp;&nbsp;
