The U.S. exported 155.64 million gallons of ethanol and 992,827 metric tons of distillers grains in December, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on Feb. 7. Exports of both products were up.
According to new statistical reports released on Feb. 8 by the Renewable Fuels Association, the value of the U.S. ethanol industry’s exports soared to a record level of just over $7.1 billion in 2023.

The U.S. exported 115.94 million gallons of ethanol and 829,911 metric tons of distillers grains in November, according to data released by the USDA on Jan. 9. Exports of both products were up when compared to the prior year.
USGC leaders traveled to Senegal in December to examine the results of recent training and market development programs the USGC has sponsored over the past five years and to learn more about the local agricultural industry and domestic policies.
