Growth Energy welcomes CBP plan to reopen Texas rail crossings

U.S. Customs and Border Protection on Dec. 22 announced that it would reopen two rail crossings in Texas. Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor expressed gratitude to biofuel champions on the Hill who helped ensure the crossings were reopened.
Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor is urging U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection immediately reopen rail operations in Eagle Pass and El Paso, Texas, noting that those closures are having a severe impact on agricultural trade with Mexico.
The RFA on Dec. 20 joined dozens of agriculture and other organizations in asking U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to reopen two rail bridges to Mexico, in El Paso and Eagle Pass, that are critical to reaching export markets.
