Responsible for implementing and upholding Environmental, Health and Safety programs at the facility to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and Company Policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Implement and monitor Environmental, Health, and Safety by providing leadership and training programs to employees. • Develop, plan, and coordinate all record-keeping, reporting, and training for all company, state and federal health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements. • Lead the facility to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and Company Policies in EHS areas including all recordkeeping. • Conduct and lead Safety Committee Meetings. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of Safety Inspections, Safety Observations, and Task Forces. • Administer and monitor the facility wide safety program and recommend methods to ensure employee participation and the implementation of a successful Safety Culture. • Implement established Process Safety Management program. • Manage the worker’s compensation program. • Implement, monitor, and enhance Injury and Illness Prevention Program. • Manage the Incident Investigation Program and ensure that all safety work orders, and safety improvements are being addressed and completed per required deadlines. • Lead and maintain environmental regulatory programs, facility’s permits and other local, state, and federal environmental requirements. • Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards. • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment at all times. • Perform all other duties as assigned.

As a Process Operator at Central Indiana Ethanol, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art production facility. You must have the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights), the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, have a basic understanding of reading and understanding process diagrams, and the ability to wear required personal protective equipment for the duration of your shift. The Process Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling the distillation process, conducting routine equipment inspections, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the production run.
